But what about the other players in the game, like eBay? How could they disrupt this "made-up" holiday and drive site traffic and sales of their own?

Enter the Crash Sale, an irreverent sales event inspired by Amazon's site crashing during last year's Prime Day. This clever strategy focused on offering unbeatable deals on products people actually wanted. And who better to be the spokesperson for the event than Alexa herself?
